Pregen ranger is also correct in comparison to what you can make yourself, which also leans it more towards the dev calculating wrong STR on the pregen fighter.

Happy birthday, Kingmaker! At character creation, you put Dex at 18. You have +4 to hit with bows. You don't get an extra AB until you get Dex to 20, at level 8. If your starting Dex is 19, you get that Extra 1 AB 4 levels earlier. One would not likely go 20 dex because that would really hurt your stat distribution, generally speaking. That is my thought process.Eldritch Archer is quite powerful, imo. If you can handle the micro, that is. ranged Eldritch Scoundrel is made for the elf. In general, the best melee builds stack a shit ton of buffs. Early on, an arcane caster/monk hybrid with mage armor, shield, mirror image, and decent stats in dex and your monk ac stat will be basically invulnerable (also get crane style from monk and put 3 points of mobility).

If you want to deal tons of damage, you go Str build. Which is less tankier than Dex build, and requires positioning early to mid game (till lvl 13). It's a very tactical build that often wins fights with a single spell.

Pathfinder broke with 3.5e by not encouraging multiclassing as much. There are good reasons to stick with your class all the way from 1-20, especially for casters. The class dips you see are probably either rogue levels to get dexterity-to-damage, or Monk/Paladin levels to get Charisma/Wisdom-to-AC-and-or-saves.

The Sigil of Destruction is a ring sold by the Skeletal Salesman. It doubles the Crit range of your Kinetic Blasts, and stacks with everything. Trickster Kineticists with that ring have something like a 10-20 crit range, which is hilarious. Even without Trickster, you go from 20 to 19-20 to 17-20.
